This 15 film Samuel L. Jackson digital bundle stands out for the low $12.99 price and the chance to pick up a handful of fun titles. Lionsgate joining Movies Anywhere makes the collection more appealing for cross platform access, and gift cards work at checkout. The main drawback is that many of the movies are obscure or unfamiliar, and the set does not include Snakes on a Plane. It feels like a studio grouped catalog rather than a greatest hits package, which keeps the value tied to how many deep cuts you want.
Lionsgate joining Movies Anywhere can improve cross-platform access for the Lionsgate titles in this collection.
Purchasing and processing can work smoothly when buying from a PC instead of a phone.
Gift cards can be used for redemption/payment, which can make checkout more flexible.
Buying an SD version can reportedly upgrade to the HD version later when the title switches owners or formats.
The collection may feel like shovelware because many titles are unfamiliar or hard to recognize.
The bundle may omit expected titles such as Snakes on a Plane, which can disappoint buyers looking for specific films.
Processing can fail on a phone, so device and account steps may affect whether the purchase completes.
The licensing may be weaker for a large portion of the catalog, which can reduce perceived value for some buyers.
