Tough to say. I've only tried them on drywall/wood with heavy frames and led lights where I didn't want to damage the paint/wood

Sorry, I meant to say drywall (painted plaster on wood). Does it help with your feedback? I am trying to erect long curtains to cover ugly white plastered walls. Heavy duty Velcro adhesive didn't work.

It's worth a shot. I was surprised how much it held up.

It's all fun and games for people who can't lift a hammer, until everything come crashing down when the sticker wears off.

This is what happened to a bunch of pictures we had up in the hall using the non-heavyweight ones.

The adhesive failed and down they fell, luckily nothing broke.

If people don't wanna go old fashion, the least they could do to ensure their pictures don't fall off after a while is getting the 3M Claw instead of the 3M Command Strip.
