Home Depot has the Delta 2 available for $288 on clearance. It's in-store only, but they make it easy to spot on their site if you have a store chosen with one available at the clearance price.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/EcoFl.../322228739

My store had 5, now down to 4. No other stores nearby seem to have the same price markdown.

EcoFlow sells the same model as a refurb on eBay for $279: https://www.ebay.com/itm/144765190276

Some traders on AliExpress seem to have this listed for the same price, but I'd rather get it from Home Depot, if possible. Good luck!

EcoFlow's Delta 2 is a portable LiFePO4 power station best suited for camping and short outage backup, especially for keeping a fridge, lights, or a TV running. It has enough capacity for practical mobile use, and the 1800W output with 2700W surge is enough for many everyday loads. The main limitation is that it is not a whole house backup system, and direct home panel use is not native or simple. Clearance pricing also varies widely by store, with reports ranging from the low 200s to the mid 400s.

Common Questions (5)

  • Reported in-store clearance prices vary widely by location, from about $249 in Washington and $252 in Florida to $336.83, $350, $371, $390, and even $440 at some stores. Availability and clearance pricing depend on actual in-store stock, so ship-to-store listings may not qualify.

  • Not as a native whole-house backup unit. It is a 120V portable power station, so it cannot directly power a home panel like a dedicated 240V backup system; some users use a generator inlet adapter to feed selected 120V circuits, but that requires the right setup and knowledge.

  • It is best for short-term backup loads like a fridge, lights, or a TV, not for running an entire house for long. A fridge around 100W can last about 10 hours, but whole-house runtime would require many units and gets expensive fast.

  • The Delta 2 is rated for 1800W sustained output, with 2700W surge/peak for transient spikes. It is not meant to exceed 1800W continuously, and the 2700W figure refers to short surge loads rather than steady output.

  • Yes, it can be left plugged into a wall outlet 24/7 and used like an uninterruptible power supply, then moved to power essentials such as a fridge when the power goes out. That makes it practical for portable backup without a permanent installation.

I think you are misleading people. The people that savy enough to do this will have a 240v power station. The people that are not, will have no clue what you are talking about about. That's the reality. This product is just not meant to be plugged into the whole house panel. Anyone thinking it could is just dreaming.
just read the reviews of the adapter cable i linked to. people are explaining that they are successfully using this adapter to power both legs of their electrical panel with either a 120v power station or a 120v generator.

it's not all that complicated for those who know what they're doing.

my only recommendation is to definitely turn off the 240v circuit breakers beforehand, so as to not damage 240v appliances/devices.

of course one could make their own custom cable, instead of purchasing one.

it's even possible to run two 120v power stations at the same time, one powering each 120v leg of the panel.

for example, i quickly found a video where this fellow was experimenting with two different power stations powering his main panel.

I wish I knew more about these things. Could I buy 1 (or 2) or these, 'tie' them together, charge it off my house panel, and then use them only when the power is out? And put in basement?
There's too much information to b3 learned to ask here, no offense. This is good for a backup for the occasional power outage to keep your fridge running. Or if you go clamping, take this. To power your who.e house is an entirely different animal that needs to be researched throughly.

they make specific adapter cords, that go from 120v to 240v, so if one has a 240v generator inlet on their electrical panel, one should be able to plug the power station into it.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CH7V5372/

it won't power the 240v appliances (you should flip those breakers off), but it will power up the 120v circuits.

so, in a grid down situation, you should be able to plug your 1800w 120v power station into the main panel (or sub panel if you have one) via the generator inlet, which makes it convenient to not have to run extension cords all over the place.

just flip on any of your light switches, turn on the tv, or plug something into the outlet, and it should work. of course, you most likely will not be able to run a powerful microwave, air fryer, hair dryer, etc. on top of your base loads, so you will need to use a second power station dedicated speficically for these high draw loads of 1500w - 1800w.
Heavay Duty! Puer Copper! Flame Reistanr!
Good to know about these adapters, but I think I'll pass on this particular manufacturer 😅

This is a great deal. Bought one last year at Best Buy for about $100 more than this. Used it camping and during a power outage, worked great.

you would need 10 of these to keep your house running for more than a day, and they don't have native support to plug into your breaker panel

at $3000 you could buy a system that was actually dedicated to that type of thing, so its not worth it

these are the type of batteries you bust out of the closet to keep your fridge going for a day or the lights and tv on in the living room for a couple days

I'm seeing $440. Oh well, I can pass because I already have other mobile power options, but this is okay if you find it.
Yeah. Not actually in stock at any of the stores near me for pickup.
That's the key.
If it is ship to store, it won't be on clearance.

$440 here. I'm about to order a Delta 3 1500 certified refurb from Ecoflow's ebay store for $439. They have most models on sale there (with coupon codes) right now. "Very good" refurbs include a 1-year Allstate warranty, certified refurbs are "like new" and have a 2-year warranty. Ecoflow refurbs were super hit-or-miss when the Delta 2 was new but people seem to love them now.

I might have jumped on this if they were this price locally, but I really want a bit more capacity.

Yes you can. just be aware of how many things u want to power off it.
For e.g if it's a fridge? They use like 100w so this will last 10 hours.
