This DeWalt Flexvolt 9Ah two pack is a heavy, high capacity battery set that fits bigger tools and even works for smaller gear, though it can feel excessive for an LED work light. The deal drew attention because orders were accepted for shipping despite the in store pickup setup, and some packages arrived factory sealed with both batteries and 2026 manufacture dates. Shipping and fulfillment were inconsistent, with some boxes containing only one battery and others arriving as expected. The price also appears to have jumped back to $399, making the original offer feel especially strong.

Common Questions (5)

  • Some shipments arrived as a factory-sealed 2-pack, but others were delivered with only one battery. Package weight and dimensions around 7 lb and 10 × 6 × 5 inches were used as a clue that the box should contain two batteries.

  • It can ship even though the listing suggests in-store pickup. Orders were accepted, labels were created, and some shipments went out via FedEx Ground.

  • North 40 appears on DeWalt's website as a listed retailer, which supports authorization concerns. The listing was still questioned by some shoppers, so checking DeWalt's retailer locator is the practical verification step.

  • The batteries are noticeably heavy and have substantial heft. That makes them more suitable for heavier tools than for lighter accessories like an LED work light.

  • It reportedly does not ship to California because the seller is not Prop 65 compliant. That means California buyers may be blocked at checkout.

The shipping label was created on 6/3 9am but FedEx doesn't have the package yet. This may be being drop shipped and not coming from North40 directly.
Update 2: I just received FedEx update, the have possession of the package and it will be delivered on next Tuesday. Smilie

Just got my package today. The box was suspiciously small and as soon as I opened it my fear was confirmed... ONLY 1 BATTERY! I emailed them immediately so either they'll just send another or I'll have to dispute 50% of the transaction with my bank. Frustrating. Wondering if anyone else had the same problem and also came back to this thread to look?

Their website states it weighs 108.8 oz which is 6.8 pounds. Fedex says my box is 8 lbs. I will only get one.

According to Amazon, the weight of 1 battery is:
Measurements
Unit Count 1.0 Count
Battery Weight 1.95 Grams
Item Dimensions 6 x 3 x 5.5 inches
Item Weight 2.8 Pounds

According to FedEx, my package weight is 7.7lbs. If this is correct then it should be 2 batteries.

I am sorry to hear this and hopefully your situation will have a quick resolution.

Can you check what's the reported weight by your carrier?

I received mine today in a factory‑sealed box containing two batteries, both with a 2026 manufacture date. Hopefully they can get this resolved for you quickly.

Good to hear others are indeed getting two batteries. My package is scheduled for delivery tomorrow and listed at 8lbs according to FedEx so fingers crossed that it's also two.
