If I didn't already beat octopath traveler 2 this would be a no brainer.

Games are yours to keep "forever" (as in these are games you add to your steam library).

Riftbreaker is an immensely fun game, a mix of tower defense and top down shooter. I've beaten it twice on Gamepass and ended up buying it with all the DLC.

No, you get to keep the games permanently (or as long as Steam lasts).

This is the same as other game bundles, this one only has Monthly Choice wrapper on it. You can buy it, and cancel the Choice immediately after the games are redeemed, no you will not lose the games.
Not sure why we don't have an option to buy once, not enroll to their Monthly Choice plan. It's just a waste of time to cancel the subscription afterwards.

Profit margins are probably lower than normal bundles I assume on Choice bundles but who knows. Subscription services are much more valuable for businesses as a reoccuring payment.

Gaben shows up to your house and personally takes away your steam keys.

I am actually pretty close to canceling my Choice membership. Following the "three strike" rule I would have already done so. Many months in a row now, there is at least one title where the "keys are exhausted" and I never get a key in the end. Their support department is pretty unhelpful as well.

So far the exhausted keys issue has not affected any of the major release titles.

I'm in for Octopath traveler 2, alone. I played rift breaker on game pass when I had it. It's a welcome game to my steam library. I played the first life is strange and enjoyed it.

Octopath sold me. I have the physical one for switch with steel book, I'll just sell that and save money instead

I wouldn't cancel right away. You can set a reminder in a calendar app. While you're subscribed to humble monthly you get a discount in the humble store. Sometimes you can find games on sale and then you could use your discount to save a bit more. It's always worth checking to see if they have a better deal.
