Not so solid if buying for Mac. It claims 2 display support, but mirror.

That's Apple's fault. They refuse to support displayport MST on their M# series CPUs, even though practically every Windows laptop made in the last 10 years supports this. For that matter Intel MacBooks support it.
Probably helps them sell more of their wildly overpriced monitors, which support thunderbolt display passthrough.
It's just one more aspect of the Apple Tax.
