Except 7" screen. Swappable microswitch controls. Better ergos. This is really meant to be a great streaming device. And is the only 7" OLED this cheap. O2 portal is def more powerful but also more expensive

I have heard that android-based vita emulation is not well-developed (in software) for any hardware.

Vita emulation is very much a work in progress. There are some Vita games that emulate well, but quite a few are unplayable, or have major visual or stability issues. You'll see problems like visual corruption, crashes, missing textures, rainbow patterns, etc. Look up specific games to see notes for playability: https://vita3k.org/compatibility

Android emulation generally requires a beefy handheld to emulate Vita well. Amusingly, even the new Anbernic RG Vita and RG Vita Pro isn't great at Vita emulation. You can get by with an older Snapdragon chipset like the 865 in this Pocket Max, but you're much better off with something like a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or Gen 3 in a Retroid Pocket 6, Odin 2 Portal, or Konkr Pocket Fit. (along with quite a few others)

I'm not sure how well the Snapdragon Elite handhelds are emulating Vita, but I've heard turnip driver support has really picked up for those chipsets this year, so they're an option, albeit expensive.
