Any good suggestions on 4k players? Seems like the ones I seen are expensive.

Just a quick search and they have some around $300 including a Sony.

You can get a Panasonic 450 for like 238 if your Walmart has any In stock. I grabbed a Panasonic 850 for 550 from Best Buy 3 weeks ago.

For those who have the digital copy on Apple TV is there any advantage to this physical release? Are all the extras the same?

This belongs to you. The apple version is being leased to you. Soon as Apple looses the license its gone. Don't quote me but the Bit Rates might also be better on the discs. I don't have Apple TV but Amazon Prime 4k, doesn't look as good as even my 1080p Blu Rays.
