I am also reading that it is a lottery (Dunkin free coffees have prepared me for this!)
I love it when they have food offers and cheaper gas does not hurt, especially now.
And I live in a state where that is the case. I have a Costco near me, but I travel the state and there are rural areas where they have nothing but Dollar Generals, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Walmarts, Food City, etc. just low income tier stores.
Will not renew my membership and will be going to Shell. It is just financially feasible for me to buy smaller quantities at Kroger and Meijer than to get a membership and save a few cents off gas. Kroger and Meijer have more variety (that is the issue with Costco), even if a little more expensive. Also, I do not have to deal with the zoo.
Variety+ Convenience > Price
