This was $1,000 multiple times last year. I would wait.

I would not expect the $900 sales of the past, in this current climate.

Maybe another $200 but it hasn't been on sale for a while, so who knows.

I'll wait for the $1000 sale if it comes back. I ended up picking up two last time and I'm absolutely blown away with their performance.

For $1300, the SB3000 revolution should also be considered mainly for the SVS bill of rights, Bluetooth control, and auto EQ.

If you have a receiver with bass management though, probably can consider this Klipsch instead purely for driver size.

This has proven overpaying for a SVS is a dumb move. We have heard it from reading reviews and watching YouTube reviewers. Its not just the value. Its facts that this sounds actually better than SVS in almost all ways. And. Its. Cheaper. I bought one when it was $1000 last fall. I can attest to it. Everyone in my town now knows my house is louder than a EDM festival. "Dude have you heard his house? His whole house is falling apart." Ya...for a fraction of the cost of that stupid SVS sub. Buy this, and you can put the money you saved toward your next Mastercard bill. Its like $73 for 8 chicken wings now in this world. So your SVS savings will help with that situation is how I look at it. Hope this helps!

I recently got the RSL 12S for $750 on a power buy. I can't imagine many homes needing a bigger or more powerful sub than that.

I'm not expecting those same sales anytime soon. Most of their RP subs and speakers are on backorder and they haven't run a Slickdeals exclusive sale in months. Previously they were running those sales every other week

Well, it depends on expectations and preferences.

If you're expecting/prefer your sub(s) sound to be louder than a festival or cause your whole house to fall apart for less, yes, this is probably the better choice.
Then again they're 10",12",14" can easily do that for much less.

If you expect/prefer a more accurate and detailed sound with very good impact, the SB 3000 Revolution are pretty incredible ime!
Especially when you consider the fraction of the size footprint difference.
Proper placement is crucial for optimal performance imo.

The Revolution Series is a significant difference/step up over the prior model, that's impressive on its own.
How they are able to offer that innovation at that price is a very pleasant surprise imo!

FYI regarding the auto EQ, think of it like individual DLBC for your subwoofer(s).
It's not a replacement but definitely a benefit, especially if you don't have it or don't want to go through the whole REW learning.
You will hear the same complaints like you do regarding DLBC though.

Running dual SB3000 Revolutions, I can tell you, everyone that has listened are shocked by the performance from that size subs.
Especially since they often say I thought sealed are only good for music!

Pretty wild claim, especially since you're comparing this huge, ported sub made for theater against a sealed sub made for music.

Apples and oranges, and Klipsch has nothing that compares.

If you bought one last fall most likely the SB3000, the Revolution Series was released this past January.
Significant difference with the SB3000 Revolution ime.

Great. If my house can fit a 24" wide subwoofer, I'll take note.
