This Skytech Nebula 2 looks like a solid midrange gaming desktop built around a Ryzen 7 9700X, 32GB of DDR5, and a 16GB RX 9060 XT. The parts pricing is the main appeal, with the CPU, graphics card, and memory alone adding up close to the asking price in today's market. The 1TB SSD, 240mm AIO, and 650W Gold PSU round out the build, and the brand-name components and long daily use without issues add some confidence. The main knocks are the earlier lower price, the one year warranty, and weaker value at 1440p or 4K. A practical pick if the current component market is driving the comparison.

  • Gamers building a 1080p desktop, because the graphics card is only about 5-10% faster there and the parts pricing is competitive in today's market.

  • Shoppers comparing individual parts near a Micro Center, because the CPU, memory, and graphics card can cost about the same when bought separately.

  • Heavy multitaskers who keep a PC running all day, because one owner reports 8+ hours of daily use for a year with no issues.

  • 1440p and 4K gamers, because the graphics card is only about 1-2% faster at 1440p and not at 4K.

  • Gamers chasing a big performance jump over a stronger prebuilt, because a slightly pricier alternative can deliver an X3D CPU and a much faster graphics card.

  • Shoppers expecting a low-cost build from the listed memory size, because the 16GB RAM configuration is called out as a reason to stay away.

I'm no expert but I think it might be this https://www.microcenter.com/produ...-gaming-pc unfortunately it only has 16 GB RAM.

Is this any good? Is it cheaper to buy components or buy a complete PC these days?
This is not bad in the current climate. Yesterday I saw another Skytech system with the same processor and ram, and I believe 2tb and a 5070ti that was $2000. I don't think those 2 components should add an extra $700. But to answer your second question, it's cheaper for some. If you have parts laying around you could save a little money. But for me living near a Microcenter, the 9700x bundle is $550, and I'm looking at $430 for a 9060XT. That's $980 for those 4 parts. And that leaves $320 for a 1tb nvme, case, AIO and power supply. Oh and the operating system.

Seems like a good deal for a prebuilt by a decent company. 16GB on the video card is good and 32gb ram is nice too for the price.

Love the skytech pc I bought a year ago. All name brand components except the PSU. I've been running it for 8+ hours per day with no issues

I've been buying parts, quality namebrand parts, since 1994 and building computers for many of my friends and neighbors.
Skytech is the best company to come along in years.
I can't beat their prices on quality namebrand parts so I buy their computers, and save myself the hassle of searching...

In your opinion, how is the AI performance of AMD 9060 XT and higher compared to 5060ti 16gb?

I'm not finding it anywhere, but is it safe to assume that this is a 2x16GB config on the RAM?

do you think there will be something similar on prime day in a few weeks; should I wait or is this worthwhile if I am looking for something future proof for the next 4-5 years (currently using a micro pc that can't run anything)

The massive L3 cache provided by 3D V-Cache technology drastically reduces latency by storing frequently reused game data. This advantage heavily benefits games with complex physics, simulation elements, or heavy NPC tracking.

Using the cheapest DDR5 MC bundles, I was at 1k just the MB, CPU, Mem and 9060. Adding the cheapest options i got to the same price and was in store only. I bought this deal today!
