Its held up so far, with no major issues. Its plays 2K26 on mediumish settings.
Minor issue and I seen comments online, the PAD for me doesn't respond smoothly always. But, my son hasn't complained.

The screen is quite wobbly and very glossy. The keyboard is typical HP mush. Build quality is good but not great. But it's very upgradeable for a 2in1 and the speakers and webcam are solid. It has a privacy shutter on the webcam which is nice, as are the 2x USB-A ports.
This one has soldered RAM, just FYI. IMHO, the combination of 3k 120hz OLED screen + internals is pretty compelling at $700. The 258v is a unicorn, combining everyday quickness, great battery life, and surprising gaming chops (~4,500 in Time Spy).

I paid the same price last BF, but fairly comparable.
I will say that the integrated ARC graphics on these things are VASTLY overrated. Internet thinks they are comparable to a 4050 but I have doubts. Playing at 1080p I have to lower settings to medium (or less) to keep the framerate acceptable. This one is a slower ARC variant 140v than mine (140T), so temper your gaming expectations. Do not expect to be playing anything at 1800p more hardcore than esports stuff.
Still, for 700 bucks this is pretty light and decent enough laptop.
I used to have a folding Dell laptop like this that also had a pen and touchscreen. I can tell you I used that thing in tablet mode exactly three times ever, and that was to play pinball.

anyway, i got this deal. possibly dont need it, but 32GB unified memory plus battery life plus OLED 3K touchscreen 2in1 for $700, and basically brand new, i got it over a pending bestbuy open box excellent hp 14 AI7 350 24GB for $435 with IPS. the battery life and OLED plus the $50 back $700 purchase from BB rewards and the microcenter refurb guarantee helped. mostly the battery life and 32GB of a 285V laptop.
i actually also have a pending delivery from acer ebay refurbished i mistook as the 258V/288V but it was the older 188H for $530. the 285V acer is same price. gonna refuse delivery and hoping for a no headache refund.
for an equiv m4 mac running 24-30GB language models this is a good deal.
as im typing this on phone, laptop is on my belly setting windows up and it is getting somewhat hot.
like last time this has corresponding costco deal. just checked and mine is missing the stylus. current carepacks are $200 to $300. not worth unless carepack deal returns.
