please put in title that it is microcenter in store only. This makes this deal very ymmv as you have to be near a microcenter with one in stock (and able to get to it) but your title does not even suggest that is needed to get the deal.

Got this during christmas for the same price for my pre-teen son.

Its held up so far, with no major issues. Its plays 2K26 on mediumish settings.

Minor issue and I seen comments online, the PAD for me is doesn't respond smoothly always. But, my son hasn't complained.

Think one was a best buy exclusive (x variant).

Not much. Mostly cosmetics. the X Flip looks snazzier and is darker and I think has the option of a Core 9 and a 2TB SSD. This one is towards the highest end of the 7 Flip configs. It's a very solid machine but be warned that only 1 of the USB-C ports is USB4/TB. The other is just regular USB-C (but you can charge on both).
The screen is quite wobbly and very glossy. The keyboard is typical HP mush. Build quality is good but not great. But it's very upgradeable for a 2in1 and the speakers and webcam are solid. It has a privacy shutter on the webcam which is nice, as are the 2x USB-A ports.
