Arby's weekend BOGO sandwich coupon is drawing attention for the half pound roast beef and other hearty sandwiches, especially when the goal is a big, meat-heavy lunch. The roast beef gets the most praise for sheer portion size, and the Chicken Bacon Swiss, Greek Gyro, and French dip come up as solid picks, with Arby's sauce and curly fries framed as part of the classic experience. The main catches are that the offer is Rewards based, limited to one redemption, excludes some items like French dip and certain BBQ sandwiches, and may not appear at every location right away. Some locations only show side deals, so availability can depend on the store and the app.

  • People who like to customize a roast beef meal, because the sandwich can be split and rebuilt with extra buns, sauce, or another sandwich.

  • Roast beef fans wanting a filling lunch, because the half-pound sandwich has a lot of meat and can stretch into extra sandwiches.

  • Shoppers feeding two people on one order, because two sandwiches can cover lunch with a lot of meat for about eight dollars.

  • Fans of the classic roast beef-and-curly-fries combo, because that sandwich is the chain's signature item and pairs well with sauce.

  • Buyers relying on a location-specific sandwich deal, because some locations only show side offers or may not participate at all.

  • People expecting chicken sandwiches to be the safe pick, because two chicken sandwiches were described as dreadful.

  • Shoppers who want a neat handheld sandwich, because the half-pound roast beef can be too much meat for the bun and get messy.

  • People who dislike chewy roast beef, because the meat can have chewy parts and the sauce may taste like salt water.

Do they still have certain locations that don't stock all of the sauces? That was complete BS.

Close. I just had seen a coupon for 2 for $7. That means each is $3.50. When they had ran that deal, 5 for $5; the price of a Classic Roast Beef on a more common deal was 2 for $5, $2.50 each. If they raised the price by a $1 for the common deal, there is a chance that if that deal came back, they would have added at least $0.50 per sandwich. This would mean that the deal would be 5 for $7.50 now. But $7.50 looks odd because Arby's likes their deals to be whole numbers. There is more of a chance they would round up so 5 for $8.

*Note: Arby's Roast Beef in 1964 was $0.69 per sandwich when the wage was $1.15/hr.. Today, on $7.25/hr., it should be $3.08 each. But since they have to adjust prices to states that have $17/hr. wages and up, they are going to make the sandwich more expensive.

Just ordered a Greek and Roast Beef Gyro. I wish they still had the turkey option.
