In industry terms:
- "Fast charging" is defined by the use of an 18 to 30 watt capable power delivery.
- "Ultra fast charging" is defined by the use of 60 to 100+ watt capable power delivery.
- "Standard charging" is defined by the use of 10 to 12 watt capable power delivery.
Then the actual real world time then depends on the size of the battery you are charging.
This one is rated at 20000 mAh. So at the 18 to 30 watt rate, that should take about 5~7 hours.
To give some context, an iPhone 17 pro max's battery is 5,088 mAh. That's why it's "fast charging" is so much quicker. At about 1/4 the battery size, you would expect it to charge at 1/4 the time
Community Reviews
BougeRV's rechargeable camping fan stands out as a compact, quiet fan with a built in 20,000mAh battery, app control, and a light, making it useful for camping, hotels, travel, and power outages. Runtime is the main strength, with reports of lasting about a day on low or around two nights at level 2, while charging times around two to five hours are described as reasonable for an 18W input. The main knocks are price and size, since $50 feels high versus battery tool fans or cheaper alternatives, and some wish for stronger airflow or clearer CFM specs. It looks most appealing if portability and battery life matter more than raw power.
Travelers sleeping in hot hotel rooms, because low speed moves enough air to stay comfortable when the room is stale or noisy.
Road-trippers who want a compact carry-on fan, because the battery is under 100Wh and the hook makes backpack transit easier.
People wanting a quiet fan for overnight use, because it can run nearly a full day and stays super quiet.
Campers needing a rechargeable fan for power outages, because it can make sleeping tolerable when electricity is out for days.
People comparing against battery-tool fans, because similar cordless options with swappable batteries and AC plugs can be better value.
Shoppers who need a compact fan with a slim profile, because it is described as too big and too thick for what it does.
Shoppers expecting strong airflow from a small fan, because it was returned as weaker than expected at this price.
Buyers who want replaceable batteries, because once the battery degrades the fan loses much of its usefulness.
