Has anyone tested the true real life longevity test, wondering how long it last on high speed.

I love my DeWalt battery powered fans, and we use those both at home and on the road. These, however, are still useful. I particularly like taking one with me when I stay at hotels for a little air flow, especially with the unit in the room is loud or has glitchy controls. One of these on low moves enough air to keep me comfortable, and it lasts for days. The hook on the bottom is handy to attach to my backpack for transit, so I don't to carry it separately. I've never tested the battery life on high; if I wanted to move that much air, I'd use a larger fan with a replaceable battery. I also like that it has a night mode to turn off the battery indicator.

Dude, when we go to five day baseball tournaments in the summer, we pack up two DeWalt 11" fans and an 18" Ego fan for the dugout. Just because you don't need to travel with fans, it doesn't mean that other people don't have cause to travel with them.

If I'm just traveling for work, a nice little fan like the one here does the job well.

oook. Just FYI anything over 100wh is against TSA regulations ( this passes is only 75WH), never seen the odd ball having a big a$$ fan hooked to their carry on strolling through the airport. To each their own... Seen travelers with pillows, comfort plush toys, ugly life partners just not a big sized cooling fan.

I agree on the hotel thought. Sometimes the air is so stale in a room that a fan changes things.

Bought this one and returned it, I think I have too much expectations at the price point. It wasn't as strong as I was expecting It to be, will be saving up and pony for the shark one at Costco.

Seems like a cool idea, but I agree it seems overpriced for such a small fan. $25-35 seems like the right sweet spot for something like this. The $50+ price, and no real CFM spec for a fan, is why this thing only has 58 reviews on Amazon. I'll try one if it ever hits $30, if not I'll stick with my two Dewalt 11" 650 CFM 20v fans, or my ryobi 18v, 18" 2400CFM hybrid drum Fan.

Not all of us are invested in those or any tool ecosystems

I would think twice about buying this. Once the battery goes it's junk. Even a degraded battery will take away much of its usefulness.
