Renogy's 200W portable solar panel is a large folding panel that can deliver solid real world output, with reports ranging from about 170 to 210 watts in good conditions. It has also powered an EcoFlow DELTA 2 through two deep freezes for about eight hours during an outage. The USB PD output appears to vary by version, with the 200W model showing 60W USB PD up to 20V. The main tradeoff is size and portability, since it is roughly 8 feet long when laid out and can fall well short of rated power in less ideal sun.

Common Questions (4)

  • Real-world output is often below the 200W rating, with reports ranging from about 120W on a poor day to 170-180W consistently. In ideal conditions, it can reach around 210W when set up cool, pointed well, and in strong sun; heat can pull output down into the 180s.

  • It folds, but it is about 8 feet long unfolded, so it is better suited to stationary use than carrying around. The large size also makes it more plausible as a true 200W panel than the tiny 100W panels often sold online.

  • The 200W E.Flex version is reported to have 60W USB-PD output up to 20V. That differs from the older 100W version, which is limited to 45W USB-PD up to 15V, and some listings appear to reuse images from the smaller model.

  • It can keep loads running during an outage; one setup with an EcoFlow DELTA 2 kept two deep freezers going for about 8 hours. A second panel would have helped, which suggests one panel may be enough for light backup but not ideal for heavier loads.

Is this the newer version then this one on amazon? I see usb charging is 60w while one on amazon is 45w https://a.co/d/02MM60vL just trying to get into solar ty for any help
I figured it out. There is an older version that is 220W, but it only has MC4 connectors. There is also a newer 100W version. That one is limited to 45W USB PD, up to 15V. The image on Amazon's 200W panel that shows 45W was taken from Renogy's 100W panel page. As far as 200W E.Flex, Renogy's website shows 60W USB PD, up to 20V. I believe that's what all sites are selling.

I bought this last year, using it on my c600. Highest i got was 210? But that is when i just put set it up while it was still cool outside. When the temps got higher, it did drop a little but i was still charging in the 180s.

This thing is like 8ft long, no wonder it's cheap. Using stationary, fine, but actually being portable, I'm not seeing it.

Would not recommend unless your looking to only get a max of 120w on the best day
I've had mine for a year and am able to get at least 170-180w consistently.

It folds. That said, it is odd they didn't make the panels rotated 90 deg. That would have cut about 10" off the width when unfolded.

Do they come with a carrying case?
