1 cup of whole milk, half a cup of heavy cream, sugar, salt, vanilla extract then mix in flavors or fruit, then freeze overnight, then have this thing mix/shave, but if you didn't add pudding powder or not enough cream and sugar it may taste more like a slushie than ice cream. Then you gotta clean it and the containers.
Vs just going to the scratch and dent grocery that sells $1.50 any ice cream.(Aldens, tilamook, any of the major good brands).
I guess if you're really into making home made ice cream this works but I fail to see how it's a really money saver and just one more gadget to take up pantry space.
With that said I want someone here to prove me wrong.. as it says in the xfiles "I want to believe". So tell me how I'm wrong and help convince me I need this thing.
