As for being unhappy with them, you can return them with the packaging and the receipt and get a refund. Sometime things don't work out as we planned on any purchase of any kind.
Appreciate your feedback, I have an order waiting for me at the store and I may just cancel it. Posting deals isn't an exact science, can only go by what their website shows and the reviews/former reputation of a product name. A few people have commented FISKAR products aren't what they used to be.
But don't throw the baby out with the bath water, you got richer by being a smart shopper and wise with your money. I posted another good clearance deal at WAGS this week for a smaller dry erase board for $2.xx that most seem very happy with. You can spend $75 on an item and be disappointed too. Chalk it up to experience and move on to the next great cheapo deal that's well worth the money and savings.
Fiskars scissors are described as a strong everyday cutting tool, with sharp blades that handle thick cardboard easily and hold up well over years of use. The clearance price is also called out as a solid value, especially when the local markdown drops below the online listing. The main caveat is that newer pairs are said to feel cheaper than older orange handled Fiskars, with rough plastic handles and blades that can lose sharpness faster. A practical pick if you want familiar scissors at a low clearance price.
Crafters cutting thick cardboard, because these scissors can slice through heavy material cleanly and stay sharp for years.
They can still be excellent and cut thick cardboard easily, with some pairs holding up for about 10 years. A reported caveat is that newer Fiskars scissors may feel cheaper, lose sharpness faster, or develop rust around the screw if not kept dry.
The online price showed about $4.29, but local store pricing varied from $3.49 to $7.50. That means the deal can be much better in some stores, but stock and markdowns are highly location-dependent.
Yes, they can be returned with the packaging and receipt for a refund. That makes the purchase lower-risk if the handle feel or quality does not meet expectations.
They are held in by plastic threads with cross-shaped T ends that pass through small holes in the package. Pulling the scissors to stretch the threads lets you rotate the T ends 90 degrees and thread them back out.
Back then, I had their original Fiskar's scissors (they had orange handles) from Finland. They were so sturdy and the metal blades held their sharpness forever and completely rustproof. I lost them few years back during moving my home. The new ones are cheaply made and don't retain their sharpness at all.
Great. Now how do I get them out of the packaging?
1) Buy this razor, https://slickdeals.net/f/19591914
2) Cut one side of the packaging with the razor and take out the scissors
3) use it to cut the other side and get the second pair out.

I know you are making a joke, but they are held in by a few plastic threads with cross-hair T's at the end that go through small holes to the backside of the pack.
Just pull the scissors bound by the plastic threads to stretch and you can then grab the T's from the other side, turn 90 degrees and thread back through the packaging holes.
Some random person on the internet will tell you that any given brand has gone massively downhill and is crap now (they still use all-metal scissors like the dull ones your grandma has that bend paper before cutting it, and drive 1981 F-150's), but everything I've tried from Fiskars is still excellent and generally better than other brands. These are no exception. Sure, there are other good scissors out there for reasonable prices, but there's a lot of junk, too, so I'll stick with Fiskars.
ok i just bought this from walgreens, heres the review. first of all, walgreens sells it in the store for 7.50. so it's not that much of a discount. the website is lying out the ass. the quality of the scissors themselves are probably 4 dollars. the fiskar name is nothing now. the handle on the plastic is rough and kinda scratchy. i compared to my westcott ones and i really regret getting them. it's only 4 dollars less thant he westcott but quality is so much worse. this is the last time i am chasing small deals. im rich af right now and im just chasing dopamine highs from when i was poor but it's slowly going away...
How did you become rich enough to stop chasing dopamine?

These scissors can cut thick cardboard very easily, even when used for tougher materials.
The blades can hold up for around a decade when the screw area is kept from rusting.
The packaging uses plastic threads that can be removed and rethreaded to access the scissors.
The scissors can feel better than competing brands for some buyers, with sharp cutting performance.
The website pricing can be misleading compared with in-store tags, including a higher local price.
The handle can feel rough or scratchy, and the overall quality can be worse than other brands.
Newer versions can lose sharpness quickly and can feel cheaply made compared with older Fiskars models.
Rust can become an issue if the screw gets rusty, which can affect long-term performance.
