I've been monitoring prices on a solid dehumidifier for a while now to prep for the summer humidity, and this highly rated one finally dropped by $40. Just pulled the trigger.

I have this unit, but my experience is my own and other's might differ. It's a really good unit, ran continuously for 2 years now. It has good build quality, the heat pump is heavy, much heavier than 2 other's unit I bought on Amazon for $300.
This is good. I bought one dehumidifier each year because no one can survive more than a year. I tried Costco one this year at least Costco has some warranty

I have the same unit, and bought around the same time as you.
It's quite loud, but the performance is good. However, the built-in hygrometer is awful. It's almost like a random number generator. I recommend using a dedicated hygrometer, and turn the dehumidifier on or off manually, or you can integrate it with Home Assistant.
