Why? Vinyl is inferior. Not as good stereo separation. You lose like half the fidelity on the last track. That's why artists would fight about getting their favorite track on first. There is hissing and popping. CDs were made for the limits of human hearing. 80 plus percent of vinyl is sourced from a digital source. I'll buy the cd, thanks.

Vinyl is an experience. Creates a better mood with a warmer sound.

I've got half speed mastered records that you can hear the guitarists pick scratch across the guitar when the record is played on a top end turntable. Many cds use high bit rate compression.

Records were meant for masters as they need focus in areas where there is major separation in highs and lows where CDs don't. High bit rate compression? That's a cop out. Video only need 24 frames per second to convince you that you're seeing a movie picture. CDs are sampled 44 thousand times a second at 16 bits. I really can't tell a difference at 32 bit. "The loudness wars" really screwed the quality aspect, but still better than vinyl.

It's always nice to see sales on physical media for CD's like this one. And you get a digital version as well, so that makes it even better.

Me too! I love collecting vinyl over other things lately.
