This wasn't even on sale to purchase, let alone be posted here, a month ago. Better not to comment false things.

These laptops don't make sense. If you're getting a snap dragon laptop, you're wanting to do low power stuff on it. netflix, browser, etc. Won't need 32GB ram. The price seems high.

These are the new very beefy X2 Elites. They are for much more than web browsing

You need to correct the specs OP
It's not Display: 14" WUXGA (1920 x 1200)
14" 2.8K (2880 x 1800)

How good is linux support? I thought Qualcomm dgaf about linux support, and even X1 is still a poor experience. Has something major happened in the past month, because folks still say it's not good enough [reddit.com] for daily driving.

I would advise you to open the links and read the specs properly. There are two models listed in the post, the cheaper one is 1200p with X2E-80-100, and the expensive one is 1800p with the X2E-88-100. The specs mentioned are correct.

you do understand the snapdragons are an execellent powerhosue for developers? long battery life? native WSL support? fully python compatability? amazing multitasking for remote client? has full support from ollama and LM studio to run local models, and remote models for inference work, rust devlopment, c# and with 32 gigs of DDR5 ram comfyui, and you can even run 70b models!!!

Full visual studio code support along with most alll. extensions working. natively (*)

It can even play some games in emulated x86, and moonlight and steam remote play has full arm versions, along with tons of arm .....

then if we talk photoshop, thhe most common tools lightroom photoshop has naive arm versions, along with blender, da vinci resolve..

so why are we dumping on snapdragon?? I do not get it... like actually wtf, why would you think this is a "netflix" machine??
