This portable charcoal grill is best for small cooks on the go, with strong appeal for camping, the beach, and backyard use. The low $29 price stands out against a similar Walmart grill at $60, and the compact size makes it easy to move around or keep as a backup. It has produced excellent ribs and works well for small meals, though it is not as capable as a Weber or Americana. Shipping damage is a concern, so in store pickup and careful inspection on arrival are worth considering.
Common Questions (4)
Yes. It is described as easy to move around and more portable than a Weber, making it practical for camping, the backyard, or the beach. Its small size also makes it useful when you want a grill for quick, small cooks instead of a full-size setup.
Buying in store can help avoid shipping damage. If you order it shipped, it may arrive damaged, so checking the box and grill on arrival is a good idea.
A charcoal chimney is recommended for easier lighting. Another method is to soak a paper towel in vegetable oil, place it under the coals, and light it to reduce fumes.
At $29 with free shipping, it is considered a strong price compared with a similar Walmart grill listed at $60. It is also a one-day-only Deal of the Day, so the discount is time-limited.

I got one of these on heavy discount back in 2011 for $20
Great grill, they called them Kangaroo grills because they're so easy to move around.
Sure it's no Weber but it's a lot easier to take camping or just drag around the backyard
