8K native resolution, wow. Should be several thousand dollars.

There's no way thats the NATIVE res, even a SUPPORTED 8k resolution is suspect.

I bought a v700 pro from vipoutlet on ebay and it seems like it's pretty good. I haven't really tested it too much but the brightness an quality seems good. Better than my Dell laptop screen and old junker projector
And better than BenQ I used in the 2000s. The v700*g* pro was rated as the best budget by pros. So I tried that.

If someone wants to do a write up. https://www.ebay.com/itm/136416511028

In my knowledge, it supports outputs at native Full HD resolution, but 8K/4K video input.

How is it 8K and 1080p at the same time? Shouldn't 8k be a higher resolution?

For clarification: this states the native resolution is 1080p. That means whatever content you play, 1080p is as good as it's gonna get. "Supported" resolution means it can accept a signal at a certain resolution-usually higher than it could display (in this case, 8k Supported but 1080p native).

"Supported" resolution gets thrown around as a headline on product listings because they can use the more high-end sounding specs, so it seems like you're buying a better product than you really are ("wow, I just bought an 8k projector for $50!")

And then you have the true tag line f#×kery... "8k Native 1080p". Hmm.

Lousy sales tactics aside, this looks like a decent projector, and a solid price for something that includes autofocus & auto keystone correction...unless that's also worded to be deliberately misleading ("Auto Focus & Keystone Correction").

Doesn't seem to have auto keystone correction, or at least it's not in the description. That's a pretty crucial feature for projectors, which this one in OP seems to have.

Mine is definitely auto adjusting some things cause it's slanted up and probably pointing slightly to the left or right. Has the bars and target at the start and shifts the image. Tho I will adjust this when I get a tripod stand because if you auto correct the picture degrades.

Like I said, The model slightly above this with an extra 50 lumens won the award for best budget projetor from the legit review site.

So far only problem I've found is some more obscure channels didn't load and it could just be "Kung fu TV" was down. Someone also showed everything passed but the pro model memory test gave an error. But I won't be using most of that app stuff cause it's for my PC. It did display YouTube good.

Its pretty bright. It's pretty detailed images; and the input when playing games so far has been responsive. The lower left and right text are slightly off but could be cause I'm using auto keystone. Most people won't be using these for computing to notice a slight text distortion but I can't say it's not auto correct till I get the stand. It's fan is quiet. The speaker is a low-mid speaker. Not pure junk. Not jbl. 2 hdmi. The power brick will need mounted if over 4ft off the ground. Bright enough to have the lights on an see. Better without like any monitor. You can sideload apps and do stuff with that; but only seen it in a video. It also doesn't say it comes with a screen and some mounting tabs; but it's a cloth screen so Ill use the wall probably and use that when I mount one for the ceiling above my bed.

Seriously suspect this projector is going to be one of those "you get what you pay for" situations. Even paying several hundred for a "cheap" projector feels like too little.

Yea a YT review confirmed it has auto keystone. Weird it's not advertised in the ebay description since it is a selling point. The video also shows the guy playing games on it and seems to work well with little or no input lag. Too bad it's currently out of stock.
