If you're spending $300+ a month, you've already paid back Prime. This card is totally worth it if you go to Whole Foods and buy daily from Amazon. Also, you can share Prime with family members and open these cards for them (I was able to open that card for my dad as well and get him $200, but no one else).

I recently did the deal and got a $200 credit. The 5% does seem to be honest. I sometimes use it for 1% general buying instead of my BofA 1% just because I can use it sooner on Amazon.

They were nagging me for years, and I finally did it and got the $200 credit. Now I have to decide if I want to do their "business" account. They state I could have saved $200 plus over the years. But why not just give it directly? If they value my business so much, what value is there for me to jump through digital hoops? In what way does that benefit them, to make those discounts profitable for them to offer to me? Does Amazon have competing divisions that have different incentives based on their customer and order numbers?

This is probably the best you'll get. They promoted something like $50-100 for a very long time. If you order from Amazon alot, the 5% back really adds up quick. Sometimes they offer an extra 1% if you wait a little longer for 6% back.

Metal card FYI gives you back 5% on Amazon shopping worth it if u shop there frequently.

Applied last time with $250 bonus. Got approved and surprisingly, this one gave me the highest credit limit ever. Chase is the issuer btw.

Not anymore. My wife got her card about 4 years ago, it was titanium. Got her renewal this year, it's now plastic. Thinner than other cards, even. Sad.
