This brings back memories of sorts. I remember going into Payless and Big 5 early Saturday mornings with my dad to get bait before our fishing trip. I recall him skipping over the brightly colored, neon PowerBait several weekends because he said it was expensive and new, and he didn't want to risk spending money on something he wasn't sure about. Then one weekend, he decided to splurge and bought the new bait. I remember the rest of the day as being magical. He took me to our favorite fishing lake, Heart Lake in Anacortes, Washington. I remember both of us reeling in fish at the same time, both our poles getting bites nonstop, father and son, having the best time ever. I remember him saying, hey, we gotta go home, we both caught our limits....this was over 35 years ago. I'm patiently waiting for my son to get a little older so I can take him fishing the same way my dad did... I miss you, dad. RIP
Just realized this stuff was called FireBait and not PowerBait. Still brought back that good ol memory.. I thank you for that.
