I got a decant of this and am wearing it right now. It's got a typical Lattafa oud vibe (kinda like the khamra stuff) in the dry down, which is a little unfortunate. I don't think it's a good clone.

Yes, I didn't like Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud. I felt Maahir (transparent bottle, not silver one) is very similar but more wearable that too only in the winters.

Yes these prices are approaching some of the name brand stuff. I hope they stay 25.00 and under.

I'm going to be that guy and say I just bought 10 bottles of the armaf odyssey line from Aliexpress within the last couple months, and all of them were around 12-15 dollars.
Though I did have a couple disputes due to shipping packaging being poorly handled leading to breakage of two bottles, overall the experience was pretty successful. There were two of them which definitely felt like they were knock-offs, they were fairly easy to spot so I was able to get recompense from AE.
I think I would probably do it again, though I wish I could smell the bottles before I purchased them , because some of them just didn't smell good. Some are incredible though. Definitely worth the role of the dice.

Definitely some good ones in there, but be sure to check prices on sites like Jomashop to see how much of a deal they are - a lot of these are actually higher than what you might pay elsewhere.

It's only kinda-sorta By the Fireplace-ish. I actually like it more than BtF, which has kind of a harsh sort of smokiness IMO.

Fake Odyssey bottles sometimes have a batch code on the bottom of the bottles but usually they are missing. There should also be a tiny vent hole on the inside of the cap at the very very top, I've never seen a fake that had this. The boxes on fakes have date and batch codes that are perfectly centered and pristine looking because they are printed with the box, they never look like this on legit boxes- they are always a little wonky because they are applied on a high speed assembly line.

You can get authentic by the fireplace for $40 new in the Facebook groups. They have damaged/missing labels, but the seller keeps stock. Also has other MM fragrances also. Just a side note to anyone looking for authentic for cheap.
