It's a good speaker, no doubt about it. Unfortunately, it banks on the JBL name and just isn't going to have the same value as other models of this form factor. Look at models that frequently go for $20 on sale, have TWS pairing, and/or app support. This speaker doesn't have those things and I ultimately sold mine in favor of some Boomcore speakers (I've found the identical speaker sold under at least 3 brand names). They get louder, sound fantastic, have longer battery life, and have TWS capability. The latest Soundcore option for this form factor seems to get a lot of praise as well and frequently goes on sale for less.

I got my Go 3 from a Walmart deal at $20 years ago. Again, it is a great sounding little speaker. There are just better options available if you can get past the logo and do real world comparisons for yourself.
