I always thought redbull was loaded with sugars and caffeine but it says about a cup of coffee worth caffeine and glass of juice worth sugar although I'd avoid juices with that much added sugar. Assuming cup or bottle of iced coffee will be more expensive than $1 per can, I can see the appeal.

It's definitely printing money. The product probably costs them 10-15c per can, and they sell it for $3-$4 per can.
