Biggest downside to this is being on-ear vs over-ear. Strengths are great battery life, lightweight, reasonably comfortable, good sound quality.
The active noise cancelation (NC) and passive sound isolation both suffer significantly due to being a small on-ear size. If you prioritize sound isolation or noise cancelation, this is not your pick.
For the same price, Anker Q30 is over-ear with much better isolation and noise cancelation, especially with excellent NC against lower frequency sounds such as engine rumble of a plane.
Noise cancelation/ isolating should be the deciding factor. If you dont need NC, and dont mind on-ear, this JBL is a good pick. If you do want effective NC, or dislike on-ear, the Q30 is the better pick. Within the JBL line, the 770NC is over-ear and has better NC at a higher price, but not as good of NC as the Q30
