The Pirelli P Zero All Season UHP in this 245 50R20 size is a high priced performance all season tire that stands out for wet and dry grip and a planted feel. The $160 price is repeatedly framed as strong versus typical $250 to $300 pricing, and real world totals around $680 for four tires plus installation make the deal look especially sharp. Fitment depends on 20 inch wheel width and load rating, and the larger sidewall can change the ride. Main cautions are faster wear, loud road noise on some cars, weak snow and ice performance, and the need to check the manufacturing date before storing them.
Drivers wanting sharper dry-road steering in a sporty all-season tire, because it feels planted and performs well on wet and dry pavement.
Yes. Tires age even when unused, and several comments recommend checking the DOT date before buying or installing; older stock can be a problem, with guidance cited to avoid installing tires older than five years and to avoid using tires older than ten.
This size is commonly priced around $250-$300 per tire, with some searches showing about $230 and other comparable 20-inch performance tires near $300 MSRP. At $160, the deal is a strong discount versus typical retail pricing.
Fitment is based on wheel diameter, width, and load class, not the vehicle model itself. These tires can fit any vehicle with 20-inch wheels that are about 7"-9" wide, and the 245/50 size will add a slightly taller sidewall than 245/40 tires.
They are reported to perform well on wet and dry roads, but they are not recommended for snow or icy roads. For frequent winter driving, a tire with stronger snow/ice focus is the better choice.
Reported wear is often around 10,000-30,000 miles depending on vehicle and use, with some owners seeing very fast wear on EVs. Road noise can also become pronounced after 10,000-15,000 miles.
Price is excellent but check manufacturing date. Tires age and, in general, manufacturers don't recommend installation of tires older than five years or using tires older than ten years.
Walmart once installed on my i3 new tires manufactured seven years ago. Was a pain to get the problem sorted.
Of course manufacturers don't recommend installation of tires 5 years or older because then they can't sell you more tires....Don't believe the tripe..
who in the hell buys tires to store them for 2 years??? Jesus, where do you people come up with this stuff..
*waves* that would be me! i just picked up the other walmart pirelli deal for my model Y but my wifes car has about another 1 year or so tread left. i bought it because it was a good deal, sad to see it was manufacturered in 2023.
I put Michilen Pilot Sports on my honda accord... it makes the car feel so much more planted. Well worth the money!
Same. I replaced P Zero run flats with Pilot Sport 4 All Seasons on my car. Much more planted and the ride isn't as rough. PS4 over P Zeros if you are looking at $300 performance tires. That said, for about half the price of PS4s I probably could live with the P Zeros, although my driving life would be less enjoyable.
I had a set of these on my wife's car a few years ago in different size and these are by far the worst tire ive ever put on. Sooooo noisy after 10-15k miles and we didnt even get 30k out of them. It was not an alignment issue btw. 3/10 because i got some use out of them.
My coworker told me his electric suv is chewing through tires every 18000 miles. It uses expensive ones like these too.
Yup I only got 10k miles out of my pirelli p zero on my gtpe ev. Also note if you get the pirelli run flats, they cannot be patched or plugged at all and must be replaced even if nail is in the center of the tire tread according to mfg. Never again. Installed Cooper all season tires and those are wearing normally.

You obviously haven't driven 10yr old tires. I can tell you with my BMW, which was rarely driven (21k miles on a 2006 model car in 2025) and stored in a basement garage in Georgia (no sunlight, 60's all the time in the garage), the tires I had installed at 11k miles were almost undriveable 10yrs later, even with almost perfect "looking" tread. The rubber had stiffened up so much that the car handled very poorly (and these were nice Continental performance tires). Swapping to a new set immediately made the car a pleasure to drive. It isn't hype that age makes tires dangerous (even if they look good, they still don't have the elasticity they had when new).

Dang that sucks. maybe look at getting smaller rims. might be cheaper to buy new rims. I went 16" for my cars. This way I can buy $70 tires when on sale. But always under $90/tire. I don't understand why people want 19" or 20" wheels on their vehicle.
This man is manager material. Can't you imagine the saving if he runs kid bicycle tires on his truck?
Picked up a set of these for my wife's Palisade Calligraphy. Had Discount Tire price match in store and paid for the replacement warranties because people were saying these may wear quickly. If they wear too quickly within 3 years they'll just give you replacements if you buy the warranties
