Been this price for a few weeks now. Good saw if you understand the limitations of 18v "brushed." Worth it at this price, but not especially "slick." Value the batteries at $100 then decide if another $100 is worth it for a smaller, very-portable miter saw
This item is 7 1/4", brushed, single bevel, and non-sliding. I would rate this as entry level cordless, considering all the potential model upgrades. So at $99 (discounting $100 for the batteries), not a bad deal if you don't see yourself needing anything better. But not worth it if you're needing something more.
Essentially for cutting 2x4 and smaller - that 7.25" blade falls short if anything larger
If I could get it to 2x6 I'd justify it, but a little less than handy in this case
