How is this allowed to be sold? Does FDA not care at all that people use semi-surgical equipment to get gunk out of their ears? Leave your ears alone, wax will come out if needed by itself, and if you have too much accumulation that impacts your hearing, or discharge, just go see a doctor.

fun fact: I got era wax impacted in my ear in high school from a q tip, Dr. used peroxide and syringe to get it out. No magic camera needed.

When you are talking about millimeters and ear drums, that kind of stuff matters. Lag = NOT a live / accurate display of actual position / condition of where the camera is....THE ENTIRE PURPOSE OF THE CAMERA. Imagine trying to drive, cook, play catch...anything really with a 1/4 to 1/2 second delay between what is actually happening vs what you perceive. Now, do the same thing with zero margin of error inside of a human orifice that is not particularly robust. Heck, people can barely play Super Mario if you introduce a few frames of lag....however only a crazy person like me would demand better than Mario when a pseudo medical device is involved.

Just a guess, but your local ENT's office isn't rocking wireless cameras. They likely used wired cameras...right? Wonder why.

I bought a different one of these just the other day and it's great. I wish they had a camera option on the vacuum ones as that's usually what the ENT has to use in my case.

I actually asked an ENT yesterday and he said that for specific purposes they were helpful, you obviously just need to go slow and be stable Big Grin

Who said the camera's feed was going to "freeze?" I said there would be LAG. Very different. And yes, BT does have lag (which can be very inconsistent). That is not a point of debate.
