Pretty garbage specs, 250 nit, VA panel, and 1000R which is very curved

I have this exact monitor and am using it right now. I love it. I took a gamble and ordered it 'used acceptable' from Amazon for $106 figuring that I could just return it if it arrived shattered in a garbage bag or something.

To my surprise, it was in perfect condition with the plastic film attached, original box and packing, and zero dead pixels. I have it on a corner desk in my home office and the deep curve allows me to shove it tight into the corner.

I don't use it for gaming or need super high brightness, but for everything else it is beautiful, especially for the price.

what exactly are you expecting for $130? 4k oled 42" widescreen?
it's a large panel and it's cheap, and has acceptable specs. your expectations are way out of line for the money.

I agree. A couple of years ago you would barely get a 1080p 27inch monitor for this price, now you are bumping up res and size and that's a complaint? I mean sure there are cheap MiniLEDs from AOC but those are 27 inches which is way smaller than 32 and people have complaints about the dimming on it. This is the best you can get for this low of a price.

I have always loved Samsung, I have been using their flagship galaxy phones since the S6. I own plenty of their TVs and monitors. I have a KS8500 that refuses to die. I even bought 3 monitors during BF for a triple setup. Everything was great until one of the monitors started failing. As others have said, they have the absolute worst warranty service. They wanted me to reproduce the intermittent problem that I had with my monitor. It took 2 weeks of back and forth before they finally sent me a shipping label. I even had the original box to send it back to them. We will see how it goes from there.

This doesn't mean anything really for modern Samsung products but my old 1080p 60hz LCD Samsung SW24 is still going strong after over 15 years and outside of being dim for modern standards, it looks fine.

That being said, this is tempting at this price but I should really see a 32" 1000R screen in-person before I buy this as my first curved monitor.

Monitors are a dime a dozen now, have to really look at reviews. Ebay open box means used with flaws now, and 1 year warranty is to little.

DisplayPort 1.2 can do 1440p@165Hz just fine.
