I read this as part of a book club from last year. As a person with a science-based degree and working in the drug field for the past 15+ years, I found a lot of the technical aspects to be rehash from my college years. If you don't have a science background, I think most will find the information quite surprising and interesting. The personal experience stories intertwined in the facts were the most interesting part to me considering my background.
