If you're installing yourself you'll save a bit, but if you need it wall mpunted may as well just buy from Best Buy.
Fair point on the wall mounting. However, many people prefer using the included stand, which comes in the box and is actually quite straightforward to set up for this specific model.
Go with the 8K that's probably lower as didn't that rate better then this or the same?
That's a fair question! The QM8K and QM9K are both great TVs, and there's been a lot of back-and-forth in the community about which one actually comes out on top.
Early on, there were definitely some bugs with the "K" series that frustrated people, but the recent firmware updates (especially the ones around Android 14) have fixed a lot of those headaches. Most people are reporting that the flickering issue—specifically when running local dimming and peak brightness at max—is largely gone now. They've also added some handy tweaks like "Natural Cinema" and better AI upscaling, which actually make a noticeable difference on lower-quality content.
As for the "best" choice, the QM9K is still the flagship with the higher zone count and extra brightness, so it's the clear winner if you're doing a lot of HDR in a bright room. A lot of people feel the QM8K is the better value, though, since the performance gap isn't always that obvious. Either way, since both models are getting those same software updates now, they're both in a much better place than they were at launch.
Walmart and BB have same sale, while Walmart have cheaper Allstate insurance 5 years 100$ish then BB geek squad 5 years 500$ish both including delivery and install free.
