When these apps ask you to tip for takeout, all it is is businesses wanting to socially subsidize more of their employees' wages in a way that redirects their employees' frustrations from themselves to customers, instead of paying a livable wage themselves.

In some places, tipping is a huge inconvenience because now you've paid more than what you are charged, and they have to proceed to make change because you think they're poor.

All of the cheaper/older or outdated/grandfathered in plans didn't get this free Doordash pass last year.
And every time when I look at the current T-Mobile CEO, I only miss John Legere even more.
