When these apps ask you to tip for takeout, all it is is businesses wanting to socially subsidize more of their employees' wages in a way that redirects their employees' frustrations from themselves to customers, instead of paying a livable wage themselves.

When I clicked redeem, it did copy a code to my clipboard but it opened in my browser (since i don't have the app) and the same code was at the end of the link
