Yeah, as a former food delivery driver and expo, I will never tip for the pleasure of ordering from an app in advance, using my own expensive gas to drive to and from the restaurant, and walking in the restaurant to pickup my food without being served any more than a host "serves" a customer. That isn't deserving of a tip, like what a waiter or driver does for customers, nor is it a tipped wage position, where they make a smaller hourly wage due to the expectation of tips.

When these apps ask you to tip for takeout, all it is is businesses wanting to socially subsidize more of their employees' wages in a way that redirects their employees' frustrations from themselves to customers, instead of paying a livable wage themselves.

Nice perk, although personally I'd generally rather pick up than add on a tip (even if the delivery is free). Of course, nowadays one often gets prompted to tip when picking up as well, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't use door dash is there an option to give dash pass to a relative that's not on T-Mobile ? There's no code it just directs to redeem to download DoorDash app

click Redeem, then share the browser link with the download option, the code is in that browser address link. My understanding is anyone can add it to their existing DD app account regardless of carrier.

If anyone else has an extra DD link, I never managed to trade my Fanatics $5 gift card from Verizon, but now I can also offer a 1-hour of Top Golf code good thru 11/3
