Just so anyone interested in this is aware, these are very small books. I like the portability of them, but I know a lot of the low star ratings are from people who expected fully sized books and got these shorter ones.
Indeed..."pocket" is an important part. 4.25 x 3.76 x 5.88 inches. The 3.76 is the width of all 4 books in the set as it sits on your bookshelf, thus each book is 4.25 by nearly 6 inches.
Pocket books are not the best for 30+. I have the GoT set, and the font size combined with thinner pages makes them inconvenient to actually read. The binding is crazy flexible, which is the only positive, but they can remain deformed from travel for a very long time. I tend to read a digital backup on my phone. You can also probably use Libby to download popular books from your library for free.
Even though they're designed to be "portable"--I feel like the true purpose of these books is to keep them visible on the corner of your desk like a piece of decorative paraphernalia to show your fantasy nerd bona-fides.
