About this item:
  • Nature's Antioxidant: Oregano Oil is an essential oil extracted from the Oregano plant, rich in antioxidants and Vitamin K. Black Cumin Seed Oil complements this well as it's rich in Thymoquinone, a natural antioxidant, and is extracted from the seeds of a Nigella plant, coming together as a healthy duo that provides immune support in a natural way.
  • 2-in-1 Softgels: Including both oils in one softgel ensures you get all of the benefits from both natural sources for the full effect of antioxidant and immune support.
  • A Stronger Duo: Oregano Oil and Black Cumin Seed Oil are rich in fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. This combination provides an all-around health benefit with full antioxidant support, and also in supporting a healthy immune system.

Oil of oregano is a natural antibiotic. I use it when I get ear infections as opposed to amoxicillin 500mg

Oil of Oregano works great. Great for cold season or when traveling. You just don't want to take it long term.

Oregano oil is supposedly good against parasites. Whether it is good on viruses remain to be seen. I use Manuka Honey with very high MGO count to fight against viruses and bacteria. It has high peroxide activity.

This is what Google says 1. Fights Infections & Microbes
  • Antibacterial: Carvacrol and thymol destroy bacterial cell membranes, making it a powerful agent against both common and antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
  • Antifungal & Antiviral: It is often used to treat fungal infections like athlete's foot, nail fungus, and Candida.
  • Parasite defense: It is sometimes used to help clear intestinal parasites and manage associated bloating and cramping. [1, 2]
2. Supports Gut Health
  • Balances bacteria: It promotes a healthy balance of gut flora by reducing harmful bacterial overgrowth (such as SIBO).
  • Reduces discomfort: It can help alleviate occasional gas, indigestion, and belly cramps. [1, 2]
3. Provides Anti-inflammatory & Pain Relief
  • Reduces inflammation: It helps the body fight systemic inflammation, which is linked to conditions like arthritis and joint stiffness.
  • Relieves pain: Topically diluted essential oil is sometimes used to soothe minor muscle aches, headaches, and joint discomfort. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Most of these claims are based on laboratory (in vitro) studies, not high-quality human clinical trials. Oregano oil has antimicrobial activity in a petri dish, but there is insufficient evidence that it effectively treats infections, Candida, parasites, SIBO, arthritis, or chronic inflammation in people. Even reviews discussing oregano oil note that promising lab findings cannot be directly applied to human health outcomes.

Is that because it hasn't been studied, or it has been studied and didn't have favorable outcomes?
