Great card. One of the only dual slot designs on the market. Standard 3x DP outputs, no goofy bandwidth sharing across 2 HDMI ports. If I had a Micro Center nearby I'd probably buy another at this $30 over launch MSRP price.

Not buying, but hoping this puts pressure on Nvidia to lower the price on their cards.

These were $579 just before Dec 2025 and the start of RAMpocalypse so it's a very good sign. Been seeing a bunch of 9070 and 9070 XT deals all over recently.

How is your 4070 lacking? The 9070 XT is ~35-40% faster, but it also consumes about 45% more power, so more heat is getting dumped into your room. I have this card, and it's nice, but if I had a 4070 I don't think I'd bother.

These are on the cheaper side because only gamers have a good use for them. If you're going to build a 16 card system, you're not grabbing these. The 32GB card costs more than twice as much. At these prices, a strix halo or gdx spark makes more sense to run larger models. Smaller models just don't do much for most people. so these cards are unpopular.

Looking to finally upgrade my system. It's an AMD 2700x CPU paired with an RX570 video card. Would upgrading the video card itself be helpful to my system or should I also be looking to upgrade the CPU/Mobo?

Only game I play is Rainbow 6 Siege although the kids play on it all the time.

Personally I'd wait a year w/a 4070, but if you must this is a damn good deal.
