The Sofirn Q8 Plus is a huge flood-style flashlight that throws an almost sunlike wall of light and is praised as one of the brightest lights around. It has USB C charging, a 1 quarter inch by 20 threaded insert, and the 5000K to 5300K version is favored for better color on video. The main tradeoffs are size, weight, and heat, since it gets very hot on turbo and sustained high output may call for a handle. The bundled batteries are seen as convenient but not especially strong, so the deal feels best when the battery bundle pricing is favorable.
Users running sustained high-output lighting, because it has a handle mount and gets hot on turbo.
Campers needing a lantern-like flood light, because the beam is extremely bright and wide enough that size and weight matter less.
Flashlight enthusiasts chasing maximum brightness, because it is described as the brightest light seen and as sun-like in output.
Video shooters wanting natural-looking light, because the 5000K-5300K version renders colors better on camera.
People wanting a lightweight handheld light, because it is heavy and gets hot on the brightest settings.
Users expecting long high-drain runtime from the included cells, because the bundled batteries are described as lower-capacity and weaker at high drain.
Tent campers placing the light close to fabric, because the front can get very hot on high or turbo and has burned through a tent.
Shoppers who want simple click-and-go controls, because the interface is overly complicated with ramping and blink modes.

I'd say the included batteries have a market value of $2-3 each. A $5-6 Reliance RS50 is much better for high drain capacity. A $2.50 Samsung 58E is also better capacity than these, but not as nice a cell as the Reliance.
No one should be paying that for the included batteries. There are far better batteries, for cheaper. There's nothing wrong with the included batteries, but they don't have the highest capacity, nor the best runtime at high drain.

Sofirn won't ship your $28 battery order for free either, so it was an apples to apples comparison at these low volumes. Both the Samsung and Reliance will be better cells - more usable capacity from both, and lower cell-heat-output in regard to the Reliance cells.
I have dozens of Sofirn 18650 and 21700 cells, but bought replacements with the great prices the others have had lately.
I suppose they could have faked the documents though..
Thanks!
