The new Google Stream boxes are really nice and have been my go-to. Trying to get my hands on one of those cheap Onn boxes from Walmart but they can't keep them in stock.
Anyway, Amazon makes some good sounding Alexa speakers. Not sure why they couldn't make a decent sounding soundbar. These sound tinny and not much better than the speaker in your TV.
In the same price range, you can get a Sony HTS100F and it will sound a LOT better without the Amazon spying. Sometimes you can find the Bose TV Speaker refurbs under $100 too. That's another good choice.
Yeah, was all in on FireTV and Firesticks and whatnot. They were good for a while, then in the last few years it became a platform to shove ads in your face while running your apps in the background.
