Avg price over last year is $7.99. This is a deal, but not as good a deal as you might think

Don't buy this. It's awful.
I love Bluey. My kids watch it a lot and we have tons of toys, been the live show, and been to the Camp experience. Nothing against Bluey.
But this book is just bad. It's a few of the episodes condensed into ~10-page little shorts. The way it's presented is worse than AI. It's like they took random screenshots of the episodes, added random snippets from the script, and that's it. The stories are presented in a borderline incoherent way. It only makes sense if you have seen the episodes, in that it jogs your memory of the episode itself. But if you're reading the story for the first time, it will make no sense. Overall, it makes for a terrible bedtime book.

I disagree with this criticism. I hadn't seen the episode "Typewriter" and it made sense to me as I was reading to my child. It's definitely the case that they're lifting the art from episodes of the show, but I think that's a fairly reasonable thing to do.

I've had this book for a few years, and my child and I keep coming back to it. It's not going to win any awards, but it's a good pick if your kid likes Bluey.

I also generally disagree with this. My kids love this book. They have seen the episodes as well, but my kid has read Hammerbarn considerably more than he has watched it. This is his favorite. We read it almost every night. I think they still reasonably make sense even without having seen the episodes

Just got this book. The stories are fine, but I can kind of understand how one who hasn't watched the show finds it to be unstructured. There are word bubbles in some stories where the characters say things in the episode which kind of leans towards showing the character's personalities, which doesn't add much to the story. I think this is fine, as kids who like the characters, would want to read/hear what is going through the character's minds.
