I just bought one of these new, after the third day it has been crashing the HBO app everytime a commercial comes on

Well for how cheap it is I'm not expecting perfect. I mean I bought a TV from Costco a TCL and the entire UI is absolutely the worst. Of course I look at the reviews after I buy the product mount it to my wall, and see it's a common issue.

I get that it's cheap, but... how long will it be able to power ONN?

Cheap e-waste. My parents rolled the dice on various ONN products in the past and they were either DOA or died shortly after purchase. And the short time it did work, it was low quality / low performance.

A couple years ago that was true, but they seem to "make" much better things now. Their recent streaming boxes and bluetooth speakers have rave reviews. And this is just a rebranded Vizio, which isn't great, but it's not terrible either.
