Always wanted to use one of these after seeing my wife's car's trim fixed perfectly with one after she had a fender bender. Couldn't tell unless you went behind it.
No clue how he got it that good. Held up too.

There's two types of plastic welding. This one uses staples. There's another style which is basically like a soldering iron with a flat head. Generally you clean the break, reinforce it with a staple and/or metal mesh and add material on top of it and heat until it's properly affixed. Then you sand it clean once it's cooled.
