I bought the model USPA 6800U back in 2019. After 2 years the heated seat function stopped working. They warrantied it be sending me just the seat (the part you sit on) at a discounted rate plus shipping. So it wasnt even a free replacement. And since it was just the seat, I was given instructions on how to take apart the system to be able to unplug the small cable to remove and replace the seat. While this was not a big deal for me, someone who does not have tools or is afraid to be near circuit boards could be an issue. Now in 2026, it leaks ever so slightly, no longer sprays on your tush, night light no longer works, but the heated seat still functions. 🤣 I do not remember what I paid, but it was a on slick deals and I am fairly positive I paid over $200 on sale. When it worked, it was amazing! Maybe I got a lemon, but I can not justify risking paying so much for what feels like a product that needs replacing. I do have a crappy manual non heated $20 one in the second bathroom. And while I do feel like a peasant using that one vs the Bio Bidet one, it at least still works.

Anyone have experience with this model? Recent reviews on their website show people having remote issues or build quality issues.

This item is discontinued. I have one, I called the company for a piece for my faucet. I mentioned I had this bidet. The customer service rep said it was discontinued.

I don't know where everyone is plugging their toilets into the electricity, otherwise i'd have one by now.

For me, our home was a new build and I knew I wanted one and worked with the builder to put an outlet for the sole purpose of powering a bidet. I can't speak for others though! I assume it's not that hard to add to your existing circuit in the bathroom. I've done it in other rooms myself, but you could always call an electrician if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself.

Holy 💩, USPA (United States Pooping Association) Pro!

This guy prefers the Toto c5, but I believe at that time the bio bidet pro was more expensive.

My last Bio Bidet started having water nozzle position issue after using it for about a year. The nozzle position changed randomly each time. Had to reset the unit frequently. Decided to switch to Toto S2 and could not be happier.

Electrician and install one next to your toilet pretty easily, as long as you have power to the bathroom (which you should). When I remodeled my bathroom, I had my contractor install one... I believe he only charged me $150 for a new GFCI outlet.

It's very rightly said:
"_Once you go bidet, you never go back. Only asking yourself why you didn't know it earlier_ !".
Having said that, if you're going for better than norm, upgraded bidets, then ONLY go "TOTO Washlet"! Costco used to sell the older model TOTO Washlet C100 (With side panel control, which IMHO is the best way of control) for $250 or cheaper during frequent sales... Don't know if we have to thank the COVID or politicians, but the prices have gone rocket high, now around $400+, take or leave 50 or so for sale, etc.
Still, for such an important thing in life, especially if you can buy it only once, you still end up saving big by going to Toto. Only regret: Very hard to find Round in the warehouse, and it seems Costco only brings Elongated...
Save a bit more before buying, and live happily for a longer time!

If not handy, call an electrician, and it should cost you about $150 to have a GFCI outlet installed for you, at least 18" above the floor and close to the seat.

If you are on a budget, then still no excuse. You can easily opt for a simple non-electrical (Dumb) bidet that is about $20 and does the most important thing any 1K bidet does! That is, unless you're in Alaska or somewhere with long and very cold winters when you need a bidet with a water heater.

Even then, and a fee advise from me that really works, that is "If...":
I have a Moein-type facet in my bathroom where the toilet is also located. These shower facet types are notorious for having a leaking rubber washer over the years of use, and repair is often expensive. What I have learned: due to the leak from the hot-water side of the shower faucet, a limited amount of hot water is leaking and mixing onto the surrounding cold-water pipes, including the toilet flush/supply line that feeds my dumb bidet. Guess what? I get enough free warm water as a result of mixing of that hot with the cold in the nearby area and get the full benefit of it in winter, when saving also on not paying for the unneeded repair! (:-)
