Sure!
If you Like depreciating assets....
That even at $9K ( + tax) :
-DDR5 is ONLY 5600mhz (rather than higher speed, 8000+ mhz)
-ONLY has ONE 5.0 NVME slot
-Screen is ONLY 120Hz & barely 3.2K (when my older X1 is 4K Touch)
-ONLY has ICU 9 275HX cpu when the 300-Series are rolling out
-ONLY has 24 Processors & same number of Threads
*When AMD's offerings will blow it out of the water
**And ONLY 8 cores are P=Performance ones...
-And NO PEN is Included!!

To name a few.... drawbacks.

*A smart shopper would invest the 9K (or even just half) in some HY investments/stocks/etc.
these assets sure have appreciated though over the last 2 years maybe that will continue

I upvoted this deal not because it's a great deal (it's quite the non-deal), but because I wish I had one. Big Grin

The GPU alone is $3500-4000, and then the 4x 48GB DDR5-5600 RAM sticks are around $2500-$3000.
the memory is more than that. GPU is a little less. And you don't want to know about the SSD.

Ya but those people aren't shopping around for these on their personal dime, their companies already provide these caliber machines to them
A lot of the movies you see at the Theater were processed on PCs like this.

If you're in the market for something like this, don't ignore the extended warranty. That'll be like buying a commercial or industrial machine and forgetting the after-sale contract...

This is actually not expensive regarding the spec. Our lab bought a Dell tower server last year which was around 10k. But it was RTX 4000, 192 GB RAM, 2 TB SSD.

I am just impressed by how light that thing is despite the insane power under the hood. Just 5.6lbs... incredible.

Wonder what the use-case is, that's a lot of RAM for just 24GB VRAM if it is for AI.

How did they even pack 192GB of RAM . wow
