The inspiration for the films Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049
By 2021, the World War has killed millions, driving entire species into extinction and sending mankind off-planet. Those who remain covet any living creature, and for people who can't afford one, companies built incredibly realistic simulacra: horses, birds, cats, sheep. They've even built humans. Immigrants to Mars receive androids so sophisticated they are indistinguishable from true men or women. Fearful of the havoc these artificial humans can wreak, the government bans them from Earth. Driven into hiding, unauthorized androids live among human beings, undetected. Rick Deckard, an officially sanctioned bounty hunter, is commissioned to find rogue androids and 'retire' them. But when cornered, androids fight back - with lethal force.

You're in a desert, walking along in the sand, when all of a sudden you look down and see a tortoise. It's crawling toward you. You reach down, and you flip the tortoise over on its back.
The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over, but it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping.
Why is that?

The Science Fiction Collection (Philip K Dick) is the same price and includes:
> Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (the inspiration for Blade Runner), The Man in the High Castle, Ubik, A Scanner Darkly, Martian Time-Slip, Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said, and many more groundbreaking works that continue to shape science fiction and modern thought.

Thanks OP. Always wanted to read this because Blade Runner is my all-time favorite movie.
It's kind of weird that somebody gave you a thumbs down, but you should keep in mind that the movie is "loosely-inspire" by the book, and there are quite a few differences. Both the movie and the book are classic sci-fi works, but two very distinct things.
