The fact that it has caterpillar's name on it, you know the people who make heavy machinery, that doesn't say anything about this small electric plastic device. They don't make that they just stick their name on somebody's that's making it in a different factory.

you could hope they'd be smart enough to put their name on a quality one, but in today's world of burning Brands trying to make a buck, I wouldn't count on it too much. you can count slightly more on the fact that it's mild quality because Sam's Club sells it, but again that alone isn't enough to go on.

lastly there's the issue of the fact that it's not listed on this Slickdeals listing the gallons per minute. without a significant amount of water hitting, even a high pressure device cannot do enough mechanical action to remove stuff.

For a 2,200 PSI pressure washer, a flow rate of 2.0 to 2.4 gallons per minute (GPM) is ideal.

this one has 1.2 gpm.

Electric pressure washers suck, they have good pressure but very poor flow rates. Until they can get the flow rates up I won't be buying one.

It's enough for most casual home owners. I can clean my sidewalk and wash my car.

Good luck with that. Even if you have a 100% efficient motor and water pump, the maximum water flow of a 1800W pressure washer @2200 psi will be less than 2-gal/min. In the real world, you can achieve about 75%-80% efficiency max, 1.5-Gal/min - 1.6-Gal/min is the very best you can get, unless it is a 220V pressure washer.
